From Pain to Possibility:

For People With Persistent Pain, So Often Where the Pain Is, Isn’t the Problem

Yes, I realize this may sound completely absurd. The pain you and (if you are a teacher) your clients are feeling is real.

And yet, the one thing I have found over 30 years of helping 1000s of people reduce and eliminate pain is what you DON’T notice matters.

And when you uncover the patterns of Bracing, Gripping, and other Compensations and then solve for those, so much pain reduces and eradicates.

20 Years of Wrist Pain Gone

I had wrist pain that radiates through the forearm for almost 20 years, severe wrist pain, and I managed it with wrist braces and advil. I took Power of the Pits, and within the first hour, my wrist pain and my forearm pain went away. It disappeared. The relief lasted several hours, and when it began to fade, I did some of the movements from the program again, and sure enough, the pain went away again. Fast forward to today – I haven’t had to wear my wrist brace in over a month now. I have had no wrist pain, no radiating pain in my forearm.

Susi Hately

BSc. Kinesiology, C-IAYT Yoga Therapist

Susi has spent 25+ years teaching yoga-informed anatomy, biomechanics, and physiology principles to movement and body-based professionals wanting to achieve long-lasting results for themselves and their practice.

By combining her B.Sc. in Kinesiology with her practical understanding of movement, breath and stillness, she sees compensatory movement strategies and understands how movement truly works.

The nervous system can catalyze powerful healing when in a relaxed, non-wired, non-tired state. She knows how to help others get to this place. That is what she teaches. This is what she can teach you.

Listen to the whispers of your body, so you don’t have to hear (or feel) the screams.

Painfree Results

Hear from professionals who have transformed their practice and their clients’ lives.

Susi has succeeded in transforming modern pain psychology into something more human.

As a kinesiologist, she has deep fluency using movement as a therapeutic tool; however, any practitioner knows that true healing requires more than just the rigid application of a bio-medical model. Susi’s technique uses movement as an “in” to the complex interplay between the physical, psychological and spiritual dimensions of pain. As a doctor with a growing interest in Integrative Medicine, her teachings have been particularly helpful in managing patients suffering from pain and chronic disease.

Jennifer Ireland

Medical Doctor

Truly a gifted practitioner and a wonderful person.

To analyze movement takes a combination of formal training in anatomical and biomechanical knowledge, and a solid sense of intuition. While the former is attained though time and diligent practice, the latter is more difficult to master. It requires the practitioner to combine reason with instinct and curiosity. Susi has proved to be an expert at this skill, which makes collaborations with her very rewarding. I can trust her to help my clients find new ways to explore their senses and gain a new connection between the brain, body and spirit.

After each training with Susi, my teaching evolves and my personal practice evolves.

I gain more clarity and insight about the body, and how it functions every time I complete a training. I also leave with a greater sense of direction as to where/how I want to teach yoga in my studio and also I gain a greater sense of direction in my personal life. The trainings remind me of why I do what I do and how to take it to the next level.
