You wake to the quiet presence of the jungle
a pulse of sound and stillness woven together.
Leaves shift.
Distant howler monkeys call across the trees.
The air is warm and heavy with green.
You walk to the yoga space barefoot.
The ground is soft. The light is low.
Practice begins . . . breath, movement, stillness
all gently held by the forest around you.
Breakfast is slow. Prepared with care.
Local. Vibrant. Grounding.
You eat outside with others who’ve come
not to escape, but to land.
The day stretches open.
You may swim.
Or read.
Or simply rest, with nothing to prove.
In the afternoon, we return to the mat
not to push, but to listen.
To what’s unwinding.
To what’s emerging.
As the sun begins to lower, you walk to the beach.
It’s quiet here. Secluded.
You float in color.
And in that moment, nothing is missing.
Nothing is waiting.
Just you.
Here.
Now.
I created The Return because so many people have asked me for an in-person retreat.
A place to gather.
To be together in real time, in real space.
But not to do more.
To do less.
To breathe.
To remember what it feels like to be in your body without the noise of everyday life.

And because I know that everyone’s body, history, and needs are different, the retreat begins long before we meet in Costa Rica.
For six weeks beforehand, we connect online – moving together, getting acquainted, and giving me the chance to really see how you move.
I learn about your body, your patterns, your needs, and your goals, so that when we’re on retreat, everything we do is deeply customized for you.
This is not a one-size-fits-all schedule.
It’s a layered, personal process that lets us go deeper, safely and effectively.

This retreat is a response to that call, and also to what I’ve seen again and again:
When we gather in a place that’s deeply nourishing, the nervous system recalibrates.
When we slow down, our tissues, our breath, our very sense of self reorganize.
And when we’re together, in practice, at the table, by the sea ….something essential wakes up.
That’s why I’m hosting this.
Not as a getaway.
But as a return ….. to yourself, to your body, and to the deeper rhythm that’s been waiting underneath all along.

This isn’t a public retreat.
It’s deliberately small – just 20 participants.
Everyone coming shares a common thread: they’ve experienced my work before.
Through a program, a class, a series, or private sessions.
So the group?
They already know this isn’t about quick fixes or surface-level practice.
They want something deeper.
More soulful.
More essential.
More personal.
This retreat is for you if you’re ready to:

Let your body exhale and find ease.

time for massage, ocean swims, deep rest, and soft exploration.
Excursions are available . . .but never required.
You don’t have to want to do it all.
You just have to want to be here.
